The Thursday Night Jazz Series (TNJS) started presenting weekly jazz events in the Spring of 2001.  Sponsored by the Capital Jazz Society, this weekly series provides area jazz groups with a regular venue to showcase their talents.  A number of regionally and nationally known groups have also performed on this series, with local jazz musicians and touring musicians often sitting in for a few tunes.  The TNJS presents over 30 different groups each year with booking provided by Arts Incorporated.
