Winter on the Great Plains - doesn't always make you think of jazz, does it? If you bought this CD, maybe you think of jazz a lot anyway. Good for you.

Listening to Annette Murrell sing makes me smile. Her rich, passionate voice is so full of spirit and sincerity.
Peter Bouffard is a nice, young lad from Vermont who now lives in Lincoln, Nebraska, teaching instrumental music in elementary schools. How he got to be such a soulful jazz musician is known only to himself. His arrangements are full of exciting rhythms and good humor, and are a joy to perform.
