| FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, NOVEMBER 2009 NEBRASKA BRASS PRESENTS: “A Nebraska Brass Christmas” Contact: Nebraska Brass: (402) 477-7899, nb@artsincorporated.org Celebrate the holiday season with music at “A Nebraska Brass Christmas,” the second concert series in the 2009-2010 Nebraska Brass season. At its most popular event of the year, the Nebraska Brass will perform traditional holiday favorites and festive arrangements that are sure to warm the hearts of audiences on even the coldest Nebraska nights. The final “A Nebraska Brass Christmas” concert at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church on Sunday, December 6, 2009, will include a silent auction fundraiser to support the programs of the Nebraska Brass. Music selections for this festive concert will feature “Carol of the Bells” by Leontivich, arranged by Snell, “The Holly and the Ivy” a traditional piece arranged by Iveson, “I Saw Three Ships,” a traditional piece transcribed by Snell, “Christmas Time Is Here” by Guaraldi, arranged by Jay Pralle, “Jolly Old St. Nicholas” a traditional piece arranged by Slechta, and “Jingle Bells” by Pierpont, arranged by Bergler.
