Nebraska Brass presents: "Swingin' Into Spring," March 20, 21 & 22
Hello Nebraska Brass fans,

Join the Nebraska Brass for "Swingin' Into Spring," the fourth set of concerts in the Nebraska Brass's 2008-2009 season. The Nebraska Brass will swing into spring with jazz classics such as "Tin Roof Blues" by Louis Armstrong, "Mood Indigo" by Duke Ellington and Morley Calvert's "Suite From the Monteregian Hills." Also on the menu for this swingin' tribute will be new jazz arrangements by Robert Elkier and music by Scott Joplin and George Gershwin.

The Nebraska Brass, founded in 1987, includes members Dean Haist, trumpet; Brad Obbink, trumpet; Ric Ricker, horn; Mark Mendell, trombone; and Ben Arunski, tuba. In addition to performing five sets of concerts each concert season, the Nebraska Brass provides educational outreach to elementary students through the Nebraska Brass Education & Community Outreach Project.
