Concert:  "Showtime"

The Nebraska Brass announce a special concert, "Showtime", at the Hevelone Center for Performing Arts in Beatrice, NE.

“Showtime” is the title of these concerts, which will include the following selections: “William Tell” by Rossini, “Saturday Night Waltz” by Aaron Copland, selections from “West Side Story” by Leonard Bernstein, “Entertainer” by Scott Joplin, “Music Hall Suite” by Joseph Horovitz, “A Foggy Day/Nice Work if you Can Get It” by George Gershwin, “Eleanor Rigby” by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, and “Tin Roof Blues” by Walter Melrose.

Tickets may be purchased at the door the night(s) of the concerts, or in advance by contacting the business office at 402-477-7899, 216 North 11th Street, Suite 202, Lincoln, NE  68508-1401. Single admission ticket prices for Lincoln and Omaha are:  Student, $6; Senior Citizen, $9; Adult, $12.   Single admission prices for Beatrice only are:  Student, $5; Senior Citizen, $8; Adult, $10.

Season memberships are available and are good in any city:  Student, $24; Senior (65+), $36; Adult, $48; Family (2 adults max), $110.

Members of the Nebraska Brass include:  Dean Haist, trumpet and Executive Director; Brad Obbink, trumpet; Richard Ricker, french horn; Mark Mendell, trombone; John Thomason, tuba.
